Key Responsibilities…
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Provide personalized instruction and support to students with varying disabilities, both individually and in group settings
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to create inclusive and effective learning environments
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting instructional methods to ensure academic and personal growth
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and adjustment of student goals and educational plans
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and success
Qualifications:
• Must hold valid state and local certifications for Special Education in Connecticut
• Experience in creating and managing IEPs and working with students with diverse needs is highly preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• A passion for helping students achieve their full potential in an inclusive, supportive environment
