Position Summary/Purpose: Get paid to work remotely as a tutor this summer. Our aim is to provide one on one academic support to online university students who need help with basic writing and formating. Tutors work remotely but must be in the state of Arizona. Qualifications: Writing Tutor: must have taken either ENG-105 or ENG-106 Must have a minimum 3.5GPA Must have a minimum of am “A-“ in the… class for which you are applying to tutor. Must be able to work over Summer. Have good communication skill on the phone. Self-driven Responsibilities Related to Purpose: Provide tutoring/coaching for students; reviewing course lectures, homework, etc. Make outbound calls to set up tutoring appointments. Update student database with specific appointment notes. Maintain confidentiality of student records and services provided. May be requested to perform administrative duties as needed. Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
