Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for making a difference? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. This role involves working with students from elementary through high school who have a range of visual impairments.
Key Responsibilities…
Teach and support a caseload of 15-20 students with visual impairments, spanning elementary to high school levels.
Provide tailored instruction and interventions to address mild to severe visual impairments.
Collaborate with students, parents, and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Position Details
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: 1099
Qualifications
Valid teaching certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a school setting.
Comfort with a 1099 contract position.
Successful completion of a technology screening.
