Key Responsibilities
Provide engaging instruction and assess curriculum needs to develop or update materials.
Lead team teaching situations and guide recruitment efforts for program participants.
Manage assessment and intake procedures, maintaining positive relationships with service providers.
Track and record progress, compile statistics, and prepare reports as needed.
Order and maintain instructional materials and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Demonstrate expertise in instructional techniques and manage work according to departmental standards.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
Fluency In Another Language May Be Required.
Valid driver’s license may be required.
Skills And Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents and writing routine reports.
Strong public speaking skills and experience working with diverse groups.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy.
High degree of collaboration, emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook/Exchange, and other relevant software.
Work Environment
Moderate noise level.
Flexibility in scheduling and location may be necessary, as program sites are open 24/7.
Locations throughout the area; you may be required to report to various sites.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, and walk.
Ability to stoop, kneel, or crawl, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Must have the ability to provide physical restraint if necessary.
Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
