We have an exciting opportunity for a Virtual Elementary Low Incidence/Life Skills Teacher to join our online network and make a positive impact on the lives of students from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver virtual instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with low incidence disabilities and life skills challenges.
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ specific goals and objectives.
• Provide targeted support and instruction in essential life skills such as communication, socialization, and self-care.
• Collaborate with parents, support staff, and administrators to monitor and track student progress.
• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate student growth and needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and adjustment of educational plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive virtual classroom environment that promotes student engagement and personal development.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Special Education teaching licensure active in Minnesota
• Experience working with students with low incidence disabilities and life skills challenges.
• Strong virtual teaching and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
