What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Host live, virtual instruction using Zoom technology
– Tailor class activities to meet learners’ interests and needs
– Teach both synchronously and asynchronously
– Utilize instructional design skills to create engaging virtual lessons
– Maintain clearances and background checks required for employment
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s Degree
– Certification to teach the appropriate subject area (preferred)
– Experience in instructional design and/or virtual learning (preferred)
– Current and valid Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances
– Act 168 background checks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Familiarity with multiple world languages
– Experience teaching in a virtual learning environment
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
– Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
