Virtual Learning Program

Our Virtual Learning Program is expanding to meet the growing demand for a virtual option, especially for middle and high school students. We are committed to aligning our program with the needs of our families and creating a virtual environment that fosters a love for learning.

Our virtual program offers personalized learning experiences, supporting students with core academic subjects and enrichment classes. Our teachers use a modified curriculum to ensure effective instruction and build strong relationships with students and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Instruction and Learning: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in a virtual classroom, fostering a positive and orderly online environment.

Commitment to Excellence: Uphold our mission and contribute to professional growth and development.

Timely Feedback: Provide prompt and meaningful feedback on student work and questions.

Classroom Management: Implement and maintain program-wide and classroom management policies.

Instructional Planning: Design and deliver instruction based on virtual content and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Collaborate and Analyze: Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to analyze data, develop instructional strategies, and address student needs.

Build Relationships: Develop trusting relationships with students, families, and staff, serving as a connection between school and home.

Track and Report: Monitor student progress on IEP goals, complete necessary paperwork, and attend meetings as required.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in content area preferred. Master’s degree or coursework in special education preferred.

Experience: At least two years of special education teaching experience and one year of virtual teaching experience required.

Skills: Proven ability to lead virtual instruction and drive student outcomes. Strong commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Technical Requirements: Professional virtual work environment and stable high-speed internet required. Must reside in the continental United States and adhere to east coast hours.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive salaries starting at $60,260, with increases based on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and a membership to One Medical. Additionally, we provide a 403(b) retirement account with employer contributions and a match, paid sick days, holidays, and breaks throughout the year.
