Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time role involves providing virtual instruction and support to a mixed caseload of students, ensuring they receive personalized and effective education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver virtual instruction and support to students with diverse educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s requirements.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional methods as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other professionals to support student development.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEPs.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Certification: Valid teaching license in Special Education.
• Experience: Experience with virtual teaching and working with a mixed caseload of students preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
