Responsibilities and Duties
Develop a deep understanding of AP Microeconomics to effectively teach and engage students.
Lead and facilitate classroom discussions to enhance learning.
Prepare and organize course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
Plan, assess, and update curricula, course content, and teaching methods to ensure a high-quality educational experience.
Maintain regular office hours to provide guidance and support to students.
Collaborate with center staff and management to select and acquire necessary materials, such as textbooks.
Work with colleagues to address and resolve teaching challenges.
Foster a positive learning environment that builds student confidence and self-esteem.
Be well-prepared and organized for each lecture and classroom session.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or higher in a relevant field.
At least 2 years of direct teaching or tutoring experience.
Reliable transportation.
Availability during weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
