Cloud Instructor – Remote | WFH

Job Summary

Are you passionate about cloud computing and eager to share your knowledge with others? As a Cloud Computing Instructor, you’ll lead engaging training sessions on popular cloud platforms, and Google Cloud. You’ll be responsible for creating and updating course materials, running hands-on labs, and helping students prepare for certification exams. We’re looking for someone who is… enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and ready to inspire the next generation of cloud professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery: Facilitate interactive and informative training sessions, both in-person and online, on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Course Development: Design and refresh curriculum and training materials to keep pace with the latest advancements in cloud technology.

Lab Exercises: Develop and oversee practical lab sessions that offer real-world experience with cloud platforms.

Assessments: Create and conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Support: Assist students by answering questions, addressing challenges, and offering guidance throughout their learning journey.

Certification Preparation: Help students prepare for cloud certification exams with tips, strategies, and review sessions.

Stay Updated: Continuously explore new trends, tools, and best practices in cloud computing to ensure content relevance.

Feedback: Gather and utilize student feedback to enhance course content and teaching methods.

Collaboration: Partner with fellow instructors and curriculum developers to ensure consistency and quality in course offerings.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

3-5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Previous teaching or training experience is a plus.

Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+, ISC2 CCSP, Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.

Skills

Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing concepts, tools, and best practices.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Ability to simplify complex topics into easy-to-understand lessons.

Experience with training platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Proficiency in creating and managing virtual lab environments.

Adaptability to various learning styles and student needs.

Work Environment

The position may require travel for in-person training sessions at various locations.

Remote work options are available, especially for virtual training.
