Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver tailored virtual lessons that accommodate the unique learning styles and needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, review, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and school teams
• Assess and track student progress using virtual tools and data analysis to adjust teaching methods and provide timely feedback
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Utilize and adapt digital resources, tools, and technology to enhance learning experiences and provide support
Qualifications:
• Valid Indiana Special Education teaching license
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Previous experience teaching students with special needs, preferably in a virtual setting
• Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
