Program Details
Canterbury English has been providing opportunities since 1991, welcoming over 7,500 English speakers to teach in Spain. Our One Year Madrid Lifestyle & TEFL Programs offer a secure means for non-EU members to live, work, and study in Spain. Participants receive a One Year Student Visa, allowing them to work 30 hours a week at a competitive rate.

Earning An Income In Spain
Participants will start teaching paid English classes with Canterbury English, continuing throughout the school year. Additional opportunities for private classes, online teaching, and school assistant positions are available. Income generated through these opportunities provides financial stability and allows for leisure activities, travel, and exploration.
Program Costs And Inclusions
• One Year Study Abroad Program with TEFL & Spanish: 2.780€
• Madrid Lifestyle Program (for TEFL holders) with Spanish: 1.970€
• Both programs include a one-year student visa, Spanish language instruction, job placement, and cultural activities.
• Future years are tuition-free for program participants.
