We’re seeking energetic individuals with a caring spirit to fill the roles of Evening Teacher/Floater. Open availability is preferred as you may work varying shifts, supporting our dynamic… programs.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement creative, engaging activities based on our curriculum to promote child development and learning.
Support children in achieving developmental milestones, conducting observations, and assisting with schoolwork or remote learning.
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children and families.
Actively supervise activities and maintain regular communication with children, parents, and fellow staff members to meet the needs of all children in our care.
Shift hours typically range from 2:30/3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with direct childcare responsibilities until 6:00 pm, followed by cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing.
Floater Role
Assigned to different classrooms daily based on needs.
Implement lesson plans created by lead teachers, with flexibility to adapt as needed.
Regular schedule with varied responsibilities across different areas.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children in a teaching or instructional role preferred.
Familiarity with early childhood education and childcare center environments.
Ability to interact effectively with parents, caretakers, and guardians.
Comfortable with flexible scheduling and able to manage time effectively.
Knowledge of child development and early learning standards is beneficial.
High School Diploma/GED required; CDA, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Clean background check and CPR/First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
