Duties…
– Provide one-on-one Chemistry sessions to High School students.
– Assess students’ learning needs and develop personalized tutoring plans
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to enhance student understanding and engagement
– Assist students in improving their academic performance in specific subjects or areas
– Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
– Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
– Adapt tutoring strategies to meet the unique learning styles and needs of individual students
– Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student attendance and progress
Requirements
SKills:
– Strong knowledge and expertise in the Chemistry – Honors and AP level.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively explain concepts and instructions
– Ability to establish rapport with students and create a positive learning environment
– Experience working with diverse populations, including adult learners, children, or individuals with special needs
– Familiarity with learning technology and online educational resources
– Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and track student progress
– Flexibility and adaptability to adjust teaching methods based on individual student needs
– Knowledge of lesson planning principles and techniques
