Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with visual impairments? We’re looking for a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team in Alaska. In this role, you will provide personalized instruction and support to help visually impaired students thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities…
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Conduct Assessments To Understand Students’ Abilities And Educational Requirements.
Monitor and evaluate students’ progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure their success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Valid teaching license for visually impaired students in Alaska.
Experience working with visually impaired or blind students is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
