Blazerworks has partnered with the Southbridge School District to find a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Overview:
• Job Title: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Southbridge, MA
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• School Year: 2024-2025
• Grade Levels: Elementary, Middle, or High School (Based on Experience and Preference)
• Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Adapt and modify lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Conduct assessments and track student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in Special Education is preferred but not required
