Responsibilities…
Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and evaluations for students with visual impairments, from Elementary to Secondary grade levels.
Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, focusing on enhancing visual and overall learning skills.
Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and progress monitoring.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt educational strategies as needed.
Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers on strategies to support visually impaired students.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired.
Current Colorado teaching certification and appropriate licensure.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in remote education for visually impaired students.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation
1099 Contractor Position
Hourly rate: $35/hr
