Job Summary
The College of Arts and Sciences at Xavier University of LA seeks qualified applications in all discipline areas in which the College offers a degree for part-time (adjunct) faculty members. Please see the 2020-2021 University Catalog for a listing of programs. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and/or online settings.
Part-time faculty are hired by the Department and the College on a semester by semester basis as needed. While applications will be continuously accepted, there may not be a need for your particular area at this time. Department heads will search the applicant pool as hiring needs arise. Contact the department directly should you have questions about your application.
Minimum Qualifications
• Related occupational experience.
• Knowledge of recent trends and developments in the field.
• Master’s Degree in Discipline or Master’s Degree in related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Discipline.
• Applicants must have a degree in the discipline and or graduate credit hours from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous teaching experience in higher education.
