Location: Charleston, SC (remote position, no residency required)
Employment Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor (35-40 hours/week)
We are working with a school district in South Carolina who has multiple remote Special Education needs. These positions within the district are diverse, however each position will include the following general Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Perform online evaluations and monitor student growth
Liaise with general education teachers, parents, and specialized professionals
Deliver tailored instruction through virtual learning platforms
Maintain detailed educational records
Attend online team meetings and pursue professional growth opportunities
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
Active state licensure in Special Education (required)
Mastery of online teaching tools and platforms
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Talent for creating engaging virtual learning experiences
Adaptability and creative problem-solving aptitude
