We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Work-From-Home High School Biology Teacher to join our team. This full-time remote position requires a strong foundation in biology, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering student success in an online learning environment.
Key Responsibilities…
• Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive biology lessons to high school students in a virtual classroom setting.
• Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive biology curriculum that meets South Carolina state standards.
• Assessment: Create, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Student Support: Provide individualized support and feedback to students, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience.
• Technology Integration: Utilize various online tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience and engage students.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification: Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Secondary Biology Education.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a virtual or online setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with online learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, Canvas) and other educational technologies.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion: A genuine passion for biology and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
