What You’ll Do

Enjoy Flexible Workdays: Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the flexibility to fit your schedule.

Deliver Engaging Lessons: Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure a consistent and effective learning experience.

Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Manage the classroom with a focus on encouraging student participation, minimizing distractions, and maintaining a supportive atmosphere.

Adapt to Student Needs: Adjust teaching methods to cater to individual student requirements.

Supervise Students: Oversee students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias.

Prepare for Long-Term Assignments: For long-term positions, collaborate with department heads to develop lesson plans and assignments that align with the regular teacher’s curriculum.

Qualifications

Education Requirements: An Associate degree or 60+ college hours is required. A Bachelor’s degree or teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills are essential.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to engage positively with students, parents, and school staff.

Teaching Ability: Experience in leading and instructing students of various ages.

Subject Knowledge: General understanding of multiple subjects.

Flexibility and Critical Thinking: Ability to adapt teaching methods and think critically in various classroom situations.

Safety and Environment: Commitment to ensuring student safety and maintaining a clean, respectful learning environment.

Compensation And Benefits

Daily Rate: Starting at $90-120 per day, based on education and certification.
