We provide Academic Tutoring and Instruction for students in Regular Education Classes as well as Special Education Classes. We are proud to be a California Department of Education (CDE) Certified Non-Public Agency. All services are provided online/virtually.

Do you fit our team and match our vision?
Our General Education team is looking for enthusiastic Academic Tutors who are eager to tutor students in the following subjects: English Language Arts, Reading Comprehension, Math, and homework help. Students range from K-12th grade and attend local school districts in Southern California.
Our tutors can earn $21-$28 per hour depending on education, degrees awarded, and professional teaching/tutoring experience. Tutors in California are part-time employees and are reimbursed for mileage and travel time while on-the-clock, (tutoring session to tutoring session). Administrative time is also provided.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree (awarded)
• Must reside in California
• Must pass and clear a CA Live Scan (background check)
• Provide a Tuberculosis clearance (under 4 years old) upon hire
• Minimum of 1 year professional teaching or tutoring experience
• Excellent communicator and problem-solver
• Ability to cover and tutor Math, ELA, and Reading Comprehension (grades K-12th)
• Ability to provide homework help
• Be available during afterschool and evening hours and/or weekends
• Ability to tutor online/virtually and possess the skill sets needed to instruct virtually
• Motivation and passion to help our students achieve academic excellence
The logistics:
Our tutors and parents work together to finalize a consistent weekly schedule. PTA provides materials to our tutors and we closely follow California Common Core State Standards to ensure our students excel academically. There are online pre- and post-assessments given to our students to track their academic progress. Tutoring sessions range from an hour to two hours maximum. Our tutors can work up to 25 hours per week.
