Position Overview

As an adjunct instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

Course Delivery: Prepare and teach courses according to the academic schedule, whether on-campus, online, or in a hybrid format.

Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and assess curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards.

Student Support: Provide clear and timely feedback on assessments, supervise student progress, and maintain accurate records.

Collaboration: Work with faculty and staff to support student success and contribute to institutional effectiveness.

Adaptability: Adjust to varying teaching schedules and environments as needed.

Essential Qualifications

Educational Background: Typically, a Master’s degree in the relevant subject area is required. Some disciplines may accept alternate credentials.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant experience is required. For mental health-related courses, a Master’s degree is preferred.

Skills: Strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to diverse learning environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.

Proficiency in course design and online/hybrid instruction.

Interest or experience in developing new STEM curriculum.

Experience working with instructors from various technical fields.
