We are seeking a dedicated and creative Art Teacher to join our team in Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for the course(s) taught. The Art Teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards, driving instruction through formative assessment and… differentiation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that align with state and district standards.
• Utilize formative assessments to drive instruction and ensure differentiated learning.
• Manage the classroom environment effectively, maintaining strong behavioral management.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere in an urban setting.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student achievement and well-being.
Qualifications:
• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; must have appropriate credentials to receive an emergency teaching permit if needed.
• Demonstrated experience in an urban school setting.
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills.
• Previous experience in a school setting is essential.
• Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances.
