Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Art or a related field; experience in graphic design, animation, and photography is preferred.
At least three years of teaching experience, with a focus on online instruction.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines for grading and project submissions.
Energetic and effective communicator, skilled at engaging with teenagers in an online environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a prompt response to all communications.
Commitment to working in a faith-based environment that values Christian scholarship and character development.
Proficiency with technology, including learning management systems like Canvas LMS, Adobe CC Suite, and creating screencasts and videos.
Reliable high-speed internet access.
Team-oriented with a willingness to both give and receive constructive feedback in a transparent culture.
Professional interaction skills with students, parents, and community members.
Sensitivity and cultural awareness to support our diverse student population.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
Maturity and stability to thrive in a challenging role.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and teach engaging digital arts courses.
Provide both synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
Evaluate and grade students’ work with fairness and clarity.
Coordinate virtual gallery shows to showcase student work.
Support students in art competitions and assist with portfolio preparation for college applications.
