Key Responsibilities

Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of participants and program objectives. Take the lead in team teaching settings.

Participant Recruitment & Assessment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, conduct participant assessments and intake procedures, and maintain strong relationships with service providers and recruitment sources.

Progress Monitoring: Track and record individual and group progress, compile data, and prepare reports as needed.

Resource Management: Manage and maintain instructional materials and resources, providing financial assistance to participants as needed under program guidelines.

Team Collaboration: Actively participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and other organizational activities. Lead meetings in the absence of a supervisor when required.

Instructional Expertise: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of instructional theory and techniques, effectively managing the workload as per departmental and organizational standards.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree: Required in education or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years in a service provision role.

Preferred Skills & Abilities

Fluency in a second language may be required depending on funding or regulatory needs.

Work Arrangement

This role offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement, with the expectation of attending in-person meetings as needed. Regular in-person meetings may be required.

Work Environment

Noise levels are typically moderate.

Our program sites are located throughout the Chicago area, including the North and South sides and surrounding suburbs. You may be required to work at different locations temporarily or permanently.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate equipment.

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Must have the ability to provide physical restraint if needed.

Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
