Overview**
Reynolds High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Latin Teacher and English Instructor to join our team. As a full-time employee, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one section of English and leading the Latin and Mythology Honors program. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to grow the school’s Junior Classical League (JCL) student… organization chapter and attend state and national conventions. **Responsibilities**
Teach one section of English, in addition to Latin and Mythology Honors classes
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote Latin proficiency in reading and writing
Utilize differentiated techniques and strategies to meet the needs of diverse students
Grow the A.C. Reynold’s Junior Classical League (JCL) student organization chapter
Attend state and national JCL conventions
Possibility to offer Ancient Greek classes with a true Classics degree
*Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree
18 semester hours of relevant coursework
2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
Ability to produce an official, degree-dated transcript from an accredited university
Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
